El Espectáculo explores the News as entertainment phenomenon. Excerpted television news footage—the Tsunami, the Iraq War, Martha Stewart's prison sentence and Michael Jackson's trial—covering a one month period in 2005 is recontextualized and integrated within the context of a Broadway stage.
